We are not a petting zoo

Do not expect a visit with us to be similar to what you would experience at a petting zoo. Our animals are individuals and come from a variety of backgrounds. They all have specific needs and care. Their safety and comfort is the priority.

We are only open on specific days for ticketed events throughout the year, and entry is granted with a ticket only. We are not open to the general public.

A few things to know before you book.

When can I visit?

Visits happen on ticketed event days only. Upcoming dates and tickets are listed on our events page, and announced on our social media. If you'd like to visit but can't find a date that works, get in touch.

What are the rules for events?

No companion animals are permitted on the property.
No outside food is allowed on the property.

Can I visit outside of an event?

Not as a general visitor. If you would like to spend regular time at the sanctuary, the best route is to join us as a volunteer.
