Cooper

Cooper was one of four 5-week old kittens being kept outside in a very small kennel. They were living in their own filth with limited access to their mom and only being provided dry adult cat food. We rescued them the morning after a cold snap where the temperature dropped below 40 degrees. We rushed over to find all of the kittens wet and the runt of the litter, Kai, was not responsive at all. We rushed the kittens back to the sanctuary where we put them on a heating mat, got them all dry and used a heat gun on a low setting to warm them all up. Cooper was the healthiest, strongest and biggest kitten out of the litter. He was lucky and did not have any respiratory issues like his siblings, but he did have an eye infection.
Cooper is afraid of his own shadow. He loves the co-founders, but those are the only people who ever see him. Unlike his siblings, he does not enjoy the catio and will NOT step foot outside. Word on the street is that he is a giant cuddle bug and always has a lot to say to the ones he feels comfortable with.
