Ember
Rescued October 3, 2018
Ember was found as a kitten in our chicken coop. She frequented every few hours looking for food, but ran into the woods when she saw humans. It took a few days of setting a live trap, but she was finally caught by using a pan of macaroni and cheese for a bribe.
She was a very spicy baby, covered in engorged ticks and very skinny. The vet estimated that she was just 6 months old and luckily, she didn’t have any injuries from living in the woods for days.
While we don’t typically give her human food, she will BEG for bread, pizza and macaroni and cheese. She is a very independent lady and is very particular with the humans she bonds with.
