Fig

Fig was one of four 5-week old kittens being kept outside in a very small kennel. They were living in their own filth with limited access to their mom and only being provided dry adult cat food. We rescued them the morning after a cold snap where the temperature dropped below 40 degrees. We rushed over to find all of the kittens wet and the runt of the litter, Kai, was not responsive at all. We rushed the kittens back to the sanctuary where we put them on a heating mat, got them all dry and used a heat gun on a low setting to warm them all up. Fig did suffer from several upper respiratory infections for awhile, but now he is a healthy thriving adult cat!
Fig is a curious little fellow, but likes to keep his distance. He enjoys spending his day out in the catio observing the outside world. He doesn’t love the idea of being picked up, but loves scritches.
