Lemon

Lemon was one of four 5-week old kittens being kept outside in a very small kennel. They were living in their own filth with limited access to their mom and only being provided dry adult cat food. We rescued them the morning after a cold snap where the temperature dropped below 40 degrees. We rushed over to find all of the kittens wet and the runt of the litter, Kai, was not responsive at all. We rushed the kittens back to the sanctuary where we put them on a heating mat, got them all dry and used a heat gun on a low setting to warm them all up. Lemon was the smallest out of the litter and she did suffer from several upper respiratory infections for awhile, but now she is a healthy thriving adult cat!
Lemon is small, but mighty. She does not like strangers, scary noises or sudden movement. She does, however, enjoy spending her days ouside in the catio and enjoys collecting trash or anything crinkly.
