A local man and his family reached out to us about Lucy and her sister, Lady. The man's health was declining and was forced to leave these two behind with his roommate, who did not want them.
They lived outside in a kennel that had not been cleaned up in who knows how long. They both had severe diarrhea and were emaciated. They had no shelter and nowhere to lay that wasn't in feces. There was no way they had been fed in a very long time and had no access to any water.
Lucy is very sweet and loves attention. She doesn't care for toys, but loves to go on walks and play with other dogs. She is extremely food motivated as well, there is no better time than breakfast or dinner time!
