Magnolia
Rescued May 16, 2025
Magnolia’s story began in sanctuary, but her life is still tied to the consequences of breeding. She was conceived in a breeding operation where many equines faced uncertain futures. Thankfully, her mother was rescued and Magnolia was born safely at Luna Sea Sanctuary, where she grew up surrounded by care and protection. After several years there, she joined Wild Pines alongside Cherry, a mini horse, and Cypress, a mini donkey. Together they became our “mini trio,” a bonded little family who bring both joy and mischief to sanctuary life.
Magnolia has always been full of personality. She is bold and bossy, often nudging her way to the front of the line at breakfast to make sure she gets the first bite. Her spirited nature makes her the clear leader of her group, but beneath her sass is a clever, curious girl who enjoys exploring, playing, and claiming her space in the herd. Magnolia’s journey shows how every equine deserves freedom, safety, and a chance to live life on their own terms.
