Mango
Rescued April 25, 2026
Mango’s story began as a stray, where she was found during a time when avian disease outbreaks made intake especially risky. To ensure the safety of both Mango and the sanctuary residents, she was first fostered and kept in quarantine for 30 days. Thanks to this careful process, she was able to arrive safely and begin her new life with us.
Only minutes after meeting our flock of Muscovy ducks, Mango had already found her place. She has a sweet nature but carries herself with a quiet independence, often choosing to do her own thing and explore at her own pace. Much like her bestie Papaya, she enjoys her freedom and moves through the flock on her own terms.
