Peat
Rescued April 25, 2026
Peat’s journey began with abandonment, having been rescued from a public park where domestic ducks had been left behind. Like so many others, he was placed in a situation he could not survive on his own. Thankfully, he was given the chance at a safe and secure life, and now calls Wild Pines home.
Peat is pure sweetness. He has the most gentle presence and brings a kind of comfort wherever he goes. He’s happiest just being near his friends, slowly waddling along, taking things in stride, and enjoying the simple moments. There’s something incredibly calming about him, the kind of presence that makes everything feel a little better.
